Sand dryer is also known as sand dryer machine or sand drying machine. It is widely used to dry sand, river sand, quartz sand, silica sand and other materials. So sometimes, we also call it silica sand dryer.

Sand is carried into the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator. Then through the feeding pipe, sand will be carried to the feeding end. The cylinder of sand dryer is an oblique rotating one. Materials enter into the cylinder from the higher end and the heat-carrying agent enters into the cylinder from the lower end which makes countercurrent contact with materials.
With the rotation of cylinder, materials will move to the lower end of the cylinder. In the process of moving forward of materials, sand dryer machine can receive the heat given by heat-carrying agent directly or indirectly to dry the materials. And at last, materials are discharged by belt conveyor or spiral conveyor.

the whole surface of the material are all effective drying surface.

and thermal conduction eliminates the adhesion phenomenon of the
cylinder wall.
